Hello, my name is Dr. Michal Kopera. I’m a math professor at Boise State.

I am passionate about helping students grow their interest in computational mathematics. I work with graduate students in the PhD in Computing program at Boise State. In my research group, we build numerical models of multiscale ocean processes. I like to dabble in other aspects of computational mathematics and explore the intersection of math and art.
